CFB Trenton, Ont - The bodies of three Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan this week are to return home Saturday.
Sapper Stephan Stock, Cpl. Dustin Wasden and Sgt. Shawn Eades died Wednesday when a roadside bomb exploded outside their armoured vehicle.
Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean, Defence Minister Peter MacKay and Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Walter Natynczyk will be on hand at CFB Trenton in eastern Ontario to pay their respects.
All three fallen soldiers were with 12 Field Squadron, 1 Combat Engineer Regiment based out of Edmonton.
With their deaths, 93 Canadian soldiers have died during the Afghan mission since it began in 2002.
