I've never hear of anyone going on a killing rampage with their bare hands or a common household tool either. If someone tried, they could be easily overpowered. When someone has a gun, they can stand at a distance and shoot many people (in this case 19 people) before they are stopped.

A round-the-clock inquirty at Ft. Hood has so far failed to uncover the motives????? I don't support his actions, but this man had been trying for two years to get out of the army for obvious reasons. He even advised he would pay for all the costs of his education provided by the military. Sounds like a few people at the top in Ft. Hood need to be investigated. It also sounds like the cover-up is in.

Also for the last time: Just like Guns don't kill people - but people kill people - Just because Some Muslim men act stupid does not mean Islam is telling them to act stupid

I am a Muslim and I condemn this act as an act of Murder. May Allah bring peace to the Victim's Family. It is a sad day and it will add more distance between Muslims and Non Muslims - I only Wish if the shooter know about the consequences of his action.

Too many people are using this as an excuse for racism.

Wonder if we'll ever see the truth about the friendly fire casualties in this incident or if they'll just cover that up and put it all on the lone gunman theory.
